Exactly 2000 miles from home and I had arrived at the village of Cristian near Brasov in Romania. Home to my friends Grega and Ligia and their children Tiffany and Oliver. They also run a home for street kids, some of them are in the picture with us.

On my first ever bike trip 12 years ago I bumped into Greg and Ligia and have stayed in touch ever since. They do a great job and are lovely people- thank you once again for making me so welcome.
